Days in india

Hi pals,

Sorry for the late post. Never got a chance to go to city to the internet cafe and there is no network in the ashram (school). Well everything is fine here. I've been sick since i got here but i'm getting better. The weather is really hot here in the afternoon. Its about 36degrees and during this time we have no electricity in the ashram. So no fan. And definately no AC. The food here are nice. They dun look good but sure taste fantastic. They dun allow us to eat spicy food so lucky for me.

The ashram exprience is really something. I've got to bathe in brown water. Even my clothes are yellowish becos of it. My feet are never clean. It so dry and dirty now that I no longer bother about have it clean. The weather here is really nice in the evening n early morning. I have to wake up at 5am everyday but still feels good. The fans are not working in the afternoon during the hottest time of the day, so its really testing my patient to keep cool and not to sweat so much. Well i'll stop here well talk more next time.

My next off day is 2 weeks later. So Lian dun get scared if you dun hear from me more then 2 weeks. Meanwhile my cell is switch on at times so you still can texts me to check if I'm alive.

Btw I found a travel mate. We are gonna stay in the therapy centre for a month and then we go travel around India. Hurray.....

Bye for now.

Check out my face book for photos. Didn't upload all cos they charge me per MB upload.

1st day in India

Creepy India airline. No entertainment no radio... Luckly I had my MP3 player. To my surprise the seats seems to be nice, much nicer then KLM. Finally I realise why, most of the seats are spoilt. They could be come up, some were so bad that when the plane took off, the seats went all the way to the back like a bed (the indian man in front of me had to sit up by himself holding the arm rest). Was expecting lots of weird smells, fortunately the plane was only 60% full, so the smell wasn't that strong.

The ride from airport to my school was really far. I got onto the transfer at about 330pm, only reach the school at 830pm. waited at the nasik office and had to take another taxi to the ashram (another 45min journey). Made my 1st indian fren. His name was Harban Sing, a retire scientist. A really nice old man, gave me treats and feed me with lots of snacks on the journey. He says i'm like his daugther, he even invited me to his house if I were to travel to south india.

The rooms were different from the website. Rather dusty and lots of mosquitoes. Just one day, I had already 8 bites on my hand. And there was a crazy dog crying the whole night at the ashram. But the food at the school were fantastic. Meet 3 new frens, they were my room mates. The internet cafe here are really creepy too. Can't read my SD card reader, guess I'll have to look for a better cafe to upload my photos.

Will be starting my course tomolo. Will update you guys soon when I have my off day (still dunno which day is that).

Preparing for India

Tomorrow is the day I'll begin my new life. Super excited n scared. Been taking some pills to prevent malaria. A super powerful pill with alot of side effects. Had a small diarrea for the 1st day and a little mood swing. 2nd day I starts to feel giddy and diarrea too. 3rd day was the worst. Viomitting, diarrea and dizzy. Super depression and anxiety. This is a scary pill. Today is the 4th day and I'm still dizzy every now and then. Oh no... I shouldn't had taken this pill. But there was one really good side effect about this pill. I called my ex and we had a really good conversation.

I'm only 70% packed and I still have lots of things laying outside waiting for a slot. Can't seems to finish my packing. Keep feeling I'll missed out something really important. Guess I just can't bear to leave my shell behind (my nickname is smilingsnail). Not gonna spent too much time blogging after all I not a blogging lover. For the sake of my frens and family to know my well about, this will be the site to check out if I'm still alive.

Cheers for now!
